Day 2... Found One

Before we leave St. Louis there are a couple of things to do. Since we were up so early we went for a walk in the 'City Garden' which is a sculpture park just out side our hotel. There were some pretty interesting pieces there. One in particular was a huge, hollow bronze head laying on it's side. Jasper of course went right inside and looked out though the eye. What fun. We wrapped that up, and then went to a yoga class under the arch.... well we were both there and one of us participated in the yoga. The other one of us rolled around on the grass and took pictures. All in all, pretty age appropriate I think.
First a nice healthy breakfast...

Then playing in the city garden...

Feeling upside down.. not sure how this happened with this picture, but you get the idea.
Yoga and pretzels...

After all that time driving, this felt really good.

After the yoga class, we went to visit the Scott Joplin house just outside of downtown St. Louis. It was a really neat tour and it was great to see Jasper get excited about the original great American 'classical' music. We spent quite a bit of time there talking to the staff and listening to the old piano rolls. Unfortunately something happened to the photos on my camera card and we lost all the pictures we took there. We did meet an interesting fella who runs a ragtime blog you can check out though. Worth the time.
